- Fri, May 23The Original Gullah FestivalIncludes entry fees to the All White Attire Party, Decoration Day Play, and a Gullah Tour. $150 on line ONLY! (Groups of 25 or more - 10% discount)
- Fri, May 23Tabernacle Baptist ChurchThis is a walk-through experience offering the history, customs and culture of Gullah. It will take place Friday May 23rd and Saturday May 24th. It is FREE and all are welcome!
- Fri, May 23Gullah Village - Kiddie VillageWorkshop participants will learn the techniques of making African-Inspired dolls. 'Abayomi' is a traditional African rag doll made from the knotting and tying process using recycled fabrics. Facilitator: Patrice Cole aka SIS-TAH-TUDE DOLL
- Fri, May 23Gullah Village - Workshop Area BParticipants will learn basic quilt-making skills and depart with the beginning of their personal Gullah-Geechee Quilt. We hope you complete your quilt at home and proudly display your keepsake.

Lest We Forget is a FREE event!


This is a walk-through educational platform offering the history, customs and culture of Gullah. This event takes place on Friday and Saturday of the Festival weekend from 10:00 AM to 3:00 PM.
Admission is FREE and all ages are welcome.
